Peter Gorsuch

Chief Editor, Nature Research Editing Service

Peter Gorsuch runs Nature Research Editing Service, a presubmission editing service that allows researchers to benefit from Nature-standard editing and advice on scientific manuscripts. This wide-ranging role builds on a wide background: previously, Peter was an Associate Editor in the physical sciences team at Nature, where he specialised in earth sciences subjects from carbon cycling to landscape morphology. His research roots are in biology, and specifically the physiology and gene expression of the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana at low temperatures, in which he carried out a PhD at the University of York, UK.
