We are delighted to announce two new courses on Finding your Funder and Experimental Design will be launching in autumn and winter 2022

We’re excited to announce two new courses to launch on the Nature Masterclasses online platform later this year: Finding your Funder and Experimental Design. 

Introducing the courses

Finding you Funder is a short, focused course that will build on and complement our course on Persuasive Grant Writing published last year. It will focus on the steps needed before researchers start developing and writing their application in detail providing practical ‘hands-on’ advice. Alongside material to read and interactive activities, the course features video interviews in which experts representing a variety of relevant stakeholders share their experience and advice. Participants will explore how to identify their needs, search for potential funding opportunities and prioritise which opportunities to pursue.

In Experimental Design participants will explore how to develop their research questions and hypotheses, select appropriate methods, protocols and techniques for their experiments and devise strategies to implement and share their experimental design.
