Christina Kary
Christina Kary has been the Chief Editor of Nature Cell Biology since she joined Springer Nature in 2016. Having obtained her PhD in 2010 from the University of Maryland, Christina’s doctoral work focused on the role of autophagy during cell death in Drosophila. She subsequently became the Jane Coffin Childs postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University before moving into the publishing world, working as an editor at Genes & Development and PLOS Biology before joining Nature Cell Biology.
