Since Nature Masterclasses launched in 2015, we have helped thousands of researchers learn how to turn great science into great papers and how to give quality peer review.
We hope our new website, launched in June 2019, will help you go further to achieve your learning goals.
What's changed?
- Improved navigation for our online courses — our Scientific Writing and Publishing online course is now delivered in three parts, making it easier for you to find what you need. Plus, each of the three course-parts offers a certificate-of-completion so you can now receive up to three certificates.
- New 10-minute lessons in our online courses, containing bite-size videos and interactive course activities — allowing you to quickly learn about a topic.
- A new online course will be launched in September 2019 — with more to follow in 2020 and beyond
Our online courses contain the same high-quality content as before, delivered by Nature Research journal editors. Plus our website address has stayed the same — so there's no need to update your browser bookmarks!

About Nature Masterclasses
Nature Masterclasses was developed by Nature Research to provide professional development training for researchers. We began as a provider of scientific writing and publishing training — drawing on the expertise of journal editors at Nature Research to give researchers a real insight into publishing.

Our peer review training
In 2016, we expanded our Nature Masterclasses training to peer reviewers with the launch of our second online course, Focus on Peer Review. This course is completely free-to-access — simply register on our website.
