About Natalia V Rivera
Genetic epidemiology and genetic architecture of complex diseases, particularly those with immune-mediated origin. My experience and research interests include genome-wide association studies (GWAS), candidate gene association studies, genetic risk scores, genetic interaction studies: gene-gene and gene-environment, Mendelian randomization study, heritability studies, biomakers of disease, as well as whole genome studies with next generation sequencing (NGS) data. I am also interested on regulatory mechanisms of disease with RNA-seq data, particularly expression quantitative trait loci (eQTLS), regulatory variants, and regulatory elements that are involved in pathogenic mechanisms.
