Did you know that there is a feature on our website that lets you put questions to Nature Research editors?

Perhaps you have a question about the editorial process at journals, writing your paper, or some other aspect of scientific writing and publishing.

How to 'Ask Our Editors'

  1. To ask a question, visit Ask Our Editors. (Located in the Menu on the left of the website).
  2. Select the Ask a question button, type your question, and select Submit.
  3. A Nature Research editor will respond to your question, and you will be notified of their reply by email.

What questions have been asked in the past?

Others have asked about planning your work, using other researchers' data in your own work, submitting to a university library and getting the work published in a scientific journal, and alerting authors to mistakes in their papers.
