Mark Gardener

Mark is an ecologist, lecturer, data consultant and author specialising in data analysis with a focus on R: the statistical programming language. Mark runs training courses in data analysis and statistics through his company DataAnalytics.org.uk. Previously, he has worked as an Associate Tutor at the Field Studies Council and as an Associate Lecturer at the Open University, teaching ecology and environmental science. Mark has published five textbooks, such as The Essential R Reference and Community Ecology - Analytical Methods Using R and Excel. He holds a PhD in Ecology from the Open University.
