Liu Bin

Liu Bin is a world-renowned researcher in organic functional materials. Her cutting-edge research has won her multiple awards, including the 2016 Singapore President’s Technology Award, the 2019 American Chemical Society Nano Lectureship Award, the 2021 Royal Society of Chemistry Centenary Prize, and the Kabiller Young Investigator Award. She has been named among the World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds by Thomson Reuters. She is a prolific researcher with over 500 publications and holds 30 patents. In 2014, she co-founded Luminicell , an NUS spin-off company that produces organic luminescent nanoparticles for use in medical and biological applications.
