Liesbet Lieben

Liesbet Lieben received her PhD in biomedical sciences from the KU Leuven, Belgium, where she worked with Geert Carmeliet on the endocrine control of mineral and bone homeostasis. She continued this line of research as a postdoctoral fellow in the same laboratory, before pursuing a second fellowship at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Cambridge, UK. She joined the Nature Reviews Disease Primers launch team in January 2015.
