Giulia Pacchioni

Giulia (she/her) is the Chief Editor of Nature Reviews Materials. She joined Springer Nature in 2015 for the launch of Nature Reviews Materials after earning a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Milan, Italy, and a PhD in Physics from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. She spent 2018 heading up the launch team of Nature Reviews Physics, and spent a few months working with Nature Materials in 2021. As part of her role at Nature Reviews Materials, Giulia commissions reviews and opinion articles, handles the peer review process and edits the content for style and clarity, working with the authors to achieve the highest level of quality for every manuscript.
