Allison Doerr

Allison joined Nature Methods in February 2005 and has been Chief Editor since November 2018. During this time, Allison has handled countless methods papers, primarily in the areas of biochemistry and chemical biology. Allison’s own research career began during her undergraduate studies in polymer chemistry at Vassar College. She later obtained her PhD in Chemistry from Princeton University working in George McLendon's laboratory, where she studied de novo protein receptor design and investigated protein–ligand interactions using NMR spectroscopy.
